During the test and normal operation, although there is a corresponding water treatment system, there will still be scale, metal particle accumulation, oxidation layer peeling and abnormal foreign matter caused by blockage, causing the stator rod temperature rise to exceed the limit resulting in accidents; In the process of inspection and test in the generator factory, as well as during the overhaul of the power station site or when the fault is handled, the stator wire rod water must also be discharged according to the Regulations on Electric Power Handover and Preventive Test. If the residual water in the stator rod is not discharged in time, because the site is not easy to isolate and protect, the high humidity or high chlorine (coastal areas) environment is easy to cause corrosion of the stator rod, which not only accumulates damage to the inner wall of the rod and the complex cooling system joints, but also easily leads to a series of failure hazards affecting the safe operation of the generator, such as reduced insulation of the stator rod. In fact, the maintenance delay caused by such reasons, the case of damaged stator rod in operation often occurs, and the loss is also large. Therefore, both the generator factory and the power plant have stipulated that the cooling water in the stator rod must be drained and dried. Large generator stator cooling water pipeline is long, many corners, complex structure, there are a lot of easy water corner parts, and because of the installation position, there are always some coils and pipelines of water can not be excluded, manufacturers mostly use dry compressed air or nitrogen pressure purging method, plus alcohol assisted drying method, time-consuming, and whether to dry completely rely on experience.
